School Board Elections
Annual Board of Education Candidate Filing Information
The filing dates for the April 7, 2026, General Municipal Election for candidates to the Grandview C-4 Board of Education are Tuesday, December 9, 2025 through Tuesday, December 30, 2025, as required by state statues. Interested persons may file a the district Central Office, 13015 10th Street, Grandview, MO at the dates and times noted under Candidate Filing below. There are three positions available with three-year terms.
Candidate Filing
Qualified applicants for the Board may file a declaration of candidacy during business hours in the superintendent's office commencing at 8:00 a.m. on the seventeenth Tuesday prior to the election and ending at 5:00 p.m. on the fourteenth Tuesday prior to the election. The candidate shall declare his or her intent to become a candidate in person and in writing to the secretary of the Board of Education.

Candidate Qualifications
US Citizen
Resident taxpayer of Grandview C-4 School District
Resided in the school district and Missouri for a minimum of one year immediately prior to the election
At least 24 years old
Not delinquent in the payment of taxes
Not found or pled guilty to a felony
Not found or pled guilty to assault or harassment in the 1stor 2nd degree on school grounds
Not required to register as a sex offender
Filed campaign disclosures as required on previous elections as a candidate
