Bulldog Award

Eligibility:
- Open to all certified and classified staff across the district
- Nominees must be in good standing and employed during the current school year
- Individuals may be nominated by colleagues, supervisors, students, or families
Award Criteria:
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following categories:
- Bulldog Determination:
Shows resilience, problem-solving, and strong commitment to students and colleagues—even in challenging circumstances. - Student-Centered Impact:
Makes a meaningful difference in student outcomes, well-being, or engagement. Prioritizes student success in daily actions. - Positive Culture Champion:
Helps build a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative school environment where staff and students feel supported and valued. - Innovation & Initiative:
Contributes ideas, seeks solutions, and actively participates in improving their school or department. - Service & Support Excellence:
Delivers high-quality service to the school community—whether in the classroom, office, cafeteria, maintenance, or support roles.
Nomination Process:
- Nominations will be accepted quarterly through an online form
- Each nomination should include specific examples demonstrating how the nominee meets the award criteria
- A district-level committee will review nominations and select honorees
Award Recognition:
- Honorees will be recognized at a board meeting, on district communication platforms, and with a personalized award
- Recipients will also receive a Bulldog Pride award and certificate
Their story will be shared to inspire and celebrate excellence across the district
