program PC for families today is January 15th and it is red Friday just want to provide you a little update on what's going on I'll certainly we've been back in school for two weeks now so we have a variety of different things getting ready to happen first and foremost on Monday January 25th will begin our second semester of learning so what are the big changes that will happen is any of you that made change in your child's learning mode so if in person and decided to go to Virtual or if you are virtual and decided to go to in person that will be the day that that change things about what's going to happen on that day please make sure that your hang out to your school so that you can get that information right now we're very excited because we're going to be able to continue the same level of service that we've been provided to our students moving forward so what that mean are Pre-K will continue to operate just like it has been are kindergarten through second grade will continue to be to go four days per week and we will continue right now in a hybrid scheduled for a grade 3 through 8 unfortunately we're not able to bring back any additional high school students just quite yet but we're excited about the possibility of that hat in the near future we are beginning plans right now to start bringing back some of our additional high school students we're just not quite to that spot in my conversations the last two weeks for the health department they're saying the same things that everybody else has the numbers are coming down but they're still a show me high so we're not quite where we need to be deposited as what we're hearing on the vaccine front obviously being provided more opportunities in this area the state moving to a different tier which is providing those 55 and older the opportunity to start the vaccine and work side of the educators are next on that list so our staff will be able to have access to that vaccine and once that occurs that she's going to allow us to bring back as we progressed throughout the course of the a lot of stuff is changing a lot of stuff happening will make sure that we provide those updates as quickly as we can and make sure that we keep you informed like I said moving forward Monday January 25th is the big moment that you want to make sure that you prepared for and that we do have students that are going to transition into our second semester and what that might mean for your particular child individually so providing high-level service for to keep doing everything we can to meet the needs of our students knowing that they really need to be in school and we will all want that exact same thing so please be on the lookout for further updates appreciate that and go Chiefs
