closure one it is Friday April 17th I want to provide you with another update on what's going on around the district first of all we're getting a lot of questions around the end of the school year so wanted to tell you the last day of school is Henry Thursday May 21st go back up to the previous week and we will not have any new additional academic content from Friday May 15th on so we'll use that time to get caught up to providing additional feedback to get additional assignments turned in work together things now what happens between now and that time in terms of grading we will be going a lot off of what the students grades were prior to the break but we will have a lot of Grace we will look at what everybody's doing we have students who been doing a ton work since the closure we have some students who have not been able to do any work with a lot of students in between where to find the happy meeting with every single one of them or in a work with you or to have a lot of Grace so hang in there more information is coming more than likely on Monday of next week so that we can get that information to you as soon as possible but there's going to be a lot of Grace I am working with every single student through each individual situation also still getting a lot of questions around how do we get our students belongings again we have a lot of things to work through to make sure that we are biting by the closure rules and what are City officials are stated so we're almost to the point where we have that's a guidance in place and so will send out more information more than likely toward the middle of end of next week to make sure that we can show what we're doing how doing it in a very a deliberate manner but also keeping everybody safe the graduating class of 2020 is also again what we're getting a lot of questions of I promised the graduating class 2020 were going to honor you in some ways it may be more creative we may have to look at that doing things obviously dramatically differently but I promise you we will find a way to honor you and all of the accomplishments that you have made and that and make sure that you know that the diploma from us is going to be a honor for you and I will celebrate with you so hang in there more information coming but I wanted to give you as much information as we had currently thank you very much I hope you have a good weekend stay safe
