Program Evaluations
District programs are evaluated annually or biennially per Policy IM. These evaluations assess progress toward meeting established goals and provide recommendations for improvement. The evaluation process ensures that programs remain effective, aligned with district goals, and responsive to the needs of students and the community. Program evaluations are summarized and formalized for the Board of Education to maintain transparency and accountability. These updates provide the Board with a clear understanding of program progress and areas for improvement, and facilitate informed decision-making. Celebrations
March is Board Appreciation Month. Various schools presented artwork, letters, and words of encouragement to each board member. The artwork is currently hanging in the boardroom.
The Board also recognized all the Junior Math Relay teams. Grandview C-4 proudly earned Top District Honors at the 12th Annual PREP-KC Jr. Math Relays, the largest event to date with participation from 31 schools and nearly 500 students. The district trophy will be proudly displayed at GC-4 until next year's competition. We are also proud to have hosted this event at Grandview High School, showcasing our commitment to academic excellence and regional collaboration
Curriculum and Instruction Update
This year, the Bulldog Summer Academy will be held on-site from June 1 to June 30. Elementary summer school will be held at Belvidere and Conn-West. Middle School and High School Bulldog Summer Academy will be held at GMS.
The July session is Virtual only and is for High School credit recovery. It runs from July 6 to July 31. High School students can earn credit through the Launch program from June 2 to June 27.
Ready….Set…Kindergarten welcomed the future class of 2039. We had 108 future Kindergarten families come to their local elementary school to meet with teachers and staff.
