We are fortunate that someone so exceptionally qualified was already serving our district and poised to step into this role. She understands our students, our staff, and our vision for the future, and we are confident she will continue moving Grandview C-4 forward."

Dr. Amaya brings more than 32 years of experience in public education and has served for the past five years as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Grandview C-4. • Collaborating with district leadership to develop the next three-year Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) aligned with academic and organizational priorities.
  • Leading district employee engagement surveys and listening efforts to strengthen workplace culture and inform leadership decisions.

Her career spans roles as a teacher, school counselor, social worker, building principal, district director, and assistant superintendent, providing her with a comprehensive PreK–12 leadership perspective.
