C&I Update
The Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6) serves as the state’s accountability system for public school districts. The Annual Performance Report (APR) measures district and school performance across multiple indicators, including academic achievement, continuous improvement, success-ready students, climate and culture, and effective practices. The APR results are used to monitor district progress, inform improvement planning, and guide instructional decision-making to ensure all students are prepared for post-secondary success. The district earned 79/140 performance points and 54/60 continuous improvement points which led to a 2.8% increase from last year.
School Improvement Plans
Principals from Belvidere, Butcher-Greene and Conn West Elementary schools presented their School Improvement Plans (SIPs) that were developed by their building Leadership Teams. Goals geared toward increasing student achievement in literacy and math and increasing a sense of belonging and ownership in the school community, were developed using root cause analysis and 30, 60, 90-day plans to evaluate the effectiveness and adjust the plans as warranted in order to accomplish established goals.
Teacher Recruitment
Grandview C-4 continues to invest in high-impact partnership programs that strengthen our educator pipeline, improve certification pathways, and support the retention of high-quality teachers. These programs address ongoing workforce needs by providing targeted recruitment, structured coaching, and grow-your-own opportunities for current staff.
Refinancing of Bonds
The Board of Education approved a resolution for refinancing of $3.6 million of general obligation bonds which may result in a savings of at least $100,000 in future interest costs.
