Some of the seniors in the class of 2017 who received scholarships during Honors Night talk about their college and career goals.

I'll be attending Clark Atlanta University which has very good biology program which I'm planning on going into and studying now I'm going to mu the scholarship recipients from Honeywell so I have a lot of options with that one I plan on attending Howard University in the fall and turn Newseum which isn't University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg musical theater and eventually of business so I'm going to start at the nursing level then went work my way up and after my four years I'll Commission as officer what or otherwise is a second lieutenant in the army lower my career in like start networking I'm pretty sure I'm offered a job there at high school out of college received several academic scholarships from Up remember exactly what they were but they were there are several of them and I received a small vocal music scholarship from Truman as well when yeah it was good it was it felt good and floods local scholarship I think it was 6 it was very rewarding to see that people actually eat they noticed what I've been doing and they believe that was a good investment to receive scholarship money I think what I really got from Grandview was experiencing like diversity and just meeting new people people who are talented in just learning from everybody in their name from everything that Kylie has to offer throughout High School a bit apart of theater where in my theater directors cuz I've had two's during here they've helped me and made it certain that I was involved in different please in different programs and was able to be a part of different things outside of just icicle City or five teachers that I don't think I'll ever about from Grandview School District even though like like I like how such a small area to where we all can still connect with each other like it's point where it's such a small world that you can Network inside this in this little community and use this community to help build yourself and other people around you my name is my name is my name is Sam Lunsford and I'm Grandview I'm Grandview my name is can I am Grandview
