From the Desk of Dr. Stephanie Amaya

Dear Grandview C-4 Families, Staff, Students, and Community Members,

 

It is an incredible honor to serve as the next Superintendent of the Grandview C-4 School District.

 

Grandview is more than the place where I work; it is a community I care deeply about. Over the past five years, I have had the opportunity to build relationships with our students, staff, families, and community. Those relationships have only strengthened my belief that Grandview C-4 is a special place with extraordinary people who are committed to one another and to the success of every child.

 

As I begin this role, my focus is simple: listen, learn, and lead.

 

I want to spend time listening to our students, staff, families, and community members. Your experiences, ideas, and perspectives matter, and they will help shape the work ahead.

I will continue learning. Every school, every classroom, and every family has a story. The more I learn about what is working well and where we have opportunities to grow, the stronger we will become as a district. We are a learning organization, and that means we never stop growing. Whether we are students, teachers, leaders, or community members, we are all committed to learning, improving, and becoming better together.

 

Most importantly, I will lead with purpose, transparency, and collaboration. Student achievement is our core purpose, and every decision we make should support that goal. At the same time, I believe belonging is at the heart of who we are. When students and staff feel connected, valued, and supported, they are able to do their very best work.

I am excited about what we will accomplish together. We have much to celebrate, and we have meaningful work ahead. I look forward to partnering with all of you as we continue to build on Grandview C-4's strengths and work in service of student success.
