The Grandview C-4 School District’s Board is committed to providing information and two-way communication with the community. It is a district priority to convey information concerning the district’s goals, achievements, activities and operations to the community. Open communication with the district’s students, parents/guardians, employees and community residents is essential for the school district to operate effectively.
The Grandview C-4 Public Relations Department is responsible for maintaining effective internal and external communications within the district. Our goal is to provide parents, community members, staff and the news media clear, timely and accurate information about GC-4 news, events, issues and plans. The communication staff coordinates media news coverage, public and media relations, event planning, promotions, crisis communications, and responses to requests for information.
Other responsibilities include producing district publications and managing the design and content of the district web site and social media. We also provide communication support to all schools, school related organizations, Board of Education, superintendent and all other district administration and staff.
