Learning Options During COVID-19

At this time the district is offering parents two options for learning for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Please keep in mind that these options are subject to change based on changing circumstances.

Option #1:  Blended Learning

Blended Learning is a combination of both in-person and distance learning and provides for a seamless transition from  face-to-face learning to a virtual learning environment. Instruction in the Blended Learning option is delivered face-to-face when appropriate and electronically via the Canvas Learning Management System when students are not present for in-person instruction.

Although student schedules may vary depending on several factors, in general, students who chose this option will be divided into two Cohort groups labeled “A” or “B”. Students will attend school in-person two days a week and virtually three days a week.

Virtual Learning Only Option

Option #2:  Distance Learning

Distance Learning is for parents who choose for their student(s) to not attend any face-to-face classes in the fall. All coursework and instruction for the Distance Learning option will be delivered virtually via the Canvas Learning Management System. Students in this option must remain in this option until at least the end of the first semester.
