School Closure Information

School Closure and District COVID-19 Information

Due to the recent ‘School Closure’ order issued by Missouri Governor Mike Parson, the Grandview C-4 School District will remain closed through the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year.

What does this mean for our students?

Although our school buildings are to remain closed, remote learning will continue through the remainder of the school closure. We will continue to adjust and administer our distance learning plans and expectations, provide student services and resources to the best of our ability, and distribute free meals to our students.

How can I reach my student’s teacher?

For all questions related to your child’s assignments, please email your child’s teacher or the building principal.

Teacher email: First Name.Last
You can also call the school. A directory of building numbers can be found here.

What about food service?

Feeding operations are ongoing despite the school closure order and will remain in place until further notice. Staff will continue to comply with the most current health guidelines.

What does this mean for graduation?

Our high school administration and teachers will work together to ensure that students in the Class of 2020 are on track to graduate. The district is waiting to receive more guidance from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Please know we will work together to provide assistance and flexibility in the interest of doing what is right for students.

What does this mean for the next school year/grade promotion?

We are working through the details and we will update the community as soon as we have the best information.
